My Role and Task
As a Visual Designer for Vori Health, my primary task was to enhance the website design while adhering to and supporting an existing design system created by another designer for their product. I developed a complementary design system for the website that seamlessly integrated with the product's system, ensuring consistency without conflict. The goal was to craft a user-friendly interface that promotes comprehensive services, emphasizes convenience and accessibility, and highlights Vori Health’s focus on specialized medical care.
The redesign aimed to:
- Strengthen Vori Health’s brand positioning.
- Increase user engagement.
- Encourage potential patients to take the first step toward better musculoskeletal health.
We conducted user interviews to uncover pain points and needs. The feedback emphasized the importance of providing easier access to medical care for back, neck, and orthopedic conditions. Guided by these insights, I streamlined the website's layout to prioritize essential information, ensuring visitors quickly understood the platform’s value proposition.
To highlight Vori Health’s virtual-first approach, we placed the “How It Works” section prominently on the homepage. This section explained:
- Connecting with a doctor-led Care Team.
- Avoiding referrals.
- Reducing the hassle of visiting multiple specialists.
A vibrant color palette and carefully chosen imagery added a modern, inviting touch, reinforcing the message of convenience.
Vori Health’s range of clinical services and insurance acceptance were pivotal in attracting users. I designed dedicated sections to:
- Highlight services such as diagnosis, virtual physical therapy, and pre/post-surgery support.
- Assure users of insurance coverage with Medicare/Medicaid, most major plans, and cost-effective self-pay options.
- These elements were visually structured to build trust and make information easily scannable.
We added testimonials from satisfied patients to build credibility and establish trust. Additionally, a section on Vori Health's enterprise solutions showcased its unique position as the only nationwide musculoskeletal (MSK) medical practice with doctor-led care teams—demonstrating its role in driving better patient outcomes.
To ensure users could easily explore the site:
- I optimized the navigation menu for seamless browsing.
- Prominently displayed contact information and added a clear call-to-action for inquiries.
- Highlighted the downloadable app for easy access to Vori Health’s services.
