The first set of illustrations focused on standing or walking characters who represent users seeking guidance or support on the app. These figures were designed to look approachable and relatable, reflecting the diverse user base. They are ideal for screens that introduce new users to the app or guide them through their fitness journey.
The second set featured dynamic characters engaged in fitness activities such as yoga, running, weightlifting, and hula-hooping. These illustrations brought energy and inclusivity to the app, showcasing users of varying fitness levels, body types, and interests. The vibrant poses aim to inspire users by portraying an active and diverse community.
To further enhance the storytelling on key app screens, I created small scenes that depict group activities, solo exercises, and friendly interactions. These scenes bring life to the app’s core concept of community-based fitness support, helping users visualize the camaraderie and shared goals that FitTogether fosters.
Finally, I delivered reusable design elements, including the illustrated characters and modular background components like plants, benches, and other props. These assets were designed to be versatile and scalable, enabling the product team to adapt them seamlessly for different app screens while maintaining a cohesive visual style.
The illustration assets reinforced FitTogether’s goal of fostering an inclusive, supportive fitness community. The reusable characters and scenes allowed the product team to efficiently build customized screens, saving time and ensuring visual consistency.
